My First Haul

This is my first ever haul post!
Today I picked up some necessities and a few other things that I just couldn't resist.

  • L'oreal Elnett Hairspray (Absolute Hold) - This was included in my wishlist post. I'm happy to have a full-size of this hairspray and am looking forward to trying the Absolute Hold formula.
  • Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lotion - This is a lotion that I have purchased before. It smells great and does a good job of moisturising. It is also very affordable.
  • Pantene 3 Minute Miracle - I have used this hair treatment before and it works well. The treatment leaves hair feeling extremely smooth and silky. However, the effects are short-term so these are best used if you want your hair to look nice for a special occasion or just as a pick-me-up.
  • Herbal Essences Shampoo & Conditioner (Long Term Relationship) - I haven't used Herbal Essences much but I decided to pick the shampoo and conditioner up from this line as they were on sale. I usually use the Joico K-Pak range which I really love, but maybe these will work just as well for a fraction of the price.
  • Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo - I use this to deep clean my brushes and I was running low so decided to pick up the largest bottle available.
  • Revitanail pack - I picked this up because it was such a good deal, for $18.69 I got the full-size Revitanail nail strengthener and a hand cream (When the polish alone retails for $29.99). Hopefully this will improve the strength and condition of my nails.
  • Swisspers Cotton Sqaures - Finally, I purchased some cotton squares - not too interesting but these work well and their claim "leaves no messy fibres" is true!

I picked up two more things that I thought I would add to this haul post.
  • Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray - I couldn't find this where I picked up the last products so I'm very happy to have found it. This is my favourite heat protectant. It can be used on wet hair before blow drying or on dry hair before curling or straightening. Love it!
  • Australis Primer - I've never tried this before but was curious to try it after reading good reviews. I haven't used it yet but I'me excited to see how it works.
Have you tried any of these items? What do you think of them?

Winter Wishlist

I'm starting off this blog with a list of beauty items I'm currently wanting.
There's no makeup items on my current list. Instead, I am wanting items ranging from skincare, to haircare and nail care. This reflects the current cooler weather in Australia, when dry skin and hair become a problem. Hopefully I can pick some of these items in the near future. If I try any of them I'll be sure to write a review once I've tested them out.

  • OPI Nail Envy - I've heard a lot of good things about this product and want to try it out. I hope it can strengthen my weak nails and stop them peeling. RRP $34.50
  • L'oreal Elnett Hairspray - I've had a few small bottles of this hairspray and now I've finished my current hairspray I'd love to pick up a large bottle of this. It's great because it is very lightweight and doesn't give your hair the stiff feeling of some other hairsprays on the market. RRP $9.95
  • Bioderma Crealine H2O - This is a much talked about product in the blogging world and I'd love to see if it lives up to the hype. It is used by makeup artists such as Lisa Eldridge and is meant to be great for cleansing sensitive skin, and it doesn't even require rinsing! It has recently being released in Australia and is available at selected pharmacies. However, it can be found cheaper online. RRP $39.95/250mL
  • Beautyblender sponge - I would love to get a hold of this sponge for applying foundation. By using it damp, it is supposed to create a flawless finish, which is something we all want! RRP $24.95
  • Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - This is a product that many beauty bloggers from the UK have been raving about. It is meant to be a great cleanser and can also be used as a gentle exfoliator. Hopefully I can track this down online without being charged a fortune for shipping.
  • Caudalie Beauty Elixr - Another product that is much talked about by UK beauty bloggers. It is a spray that can be used to refresh makeup and also as a toner. It sounds nice and I'd like to try it to see how it differs from a product like Mac Fix+. RRP $18/30mL
  • Tresemme Heat Tamer Protective Spray - This is a product that I need to repurchase. It is an affordable heat protectant that can be used both before blow drying and before using styling tools, like a curling iron or straightener. It comes in a spray bottle which makes application quick and simple. I spray this in my hair and then comb it through to distribute it evenly. It also smells great and leaves hair soft and shiny. RRP $9.95/300mL
  • Evo The Great Hydrator - I received a sample of this in a beauty sample box and have been wanting to pick up a full-size product. It is a hydrating treatment that left my hair feeling extremely soft and also reduces frizz. RRP $29.95/150mL
  • Kiehl's Creme de Corps - With winter approaching, I need a great moisturiser to keep my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I'd love to try this moisturiser out and see how it goes. It's more expensive then moisturisers from the chemist but if it performs well it may just be worth the money. RRP $38/250mL
  • Real Techniques Core Collection brushes - These brushes are designed by Samantha Chapman, one of the sisters who runs the successful Youtube channel Pixiwoo. I would like to purchase the Core Collection, specifically to try out the Buffing Brush. I have heard this brush is great for applying foundation and I'd love to try it. RRP $18
